maintenance

  • How to maintain the device?

To maintain your raclette machine and prolong its life, here are some tips:

Before you start cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged and completely cooled down.

Dismantle the various parts of the appliance, such as the raclette trays, spatulas and pans, according to the instructions in the manual.

Clean the raclette trays and spatulas with lukewarm water and a little mild soap. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that could damage the non-stick surface.

The pans can be cleaned with a soft sponge and a little soap. If cheese residues are stuck, you can soak them in warm water for a few minutes before washing them.

Wipe all parts with a clean, dry cloth.

Make sure that all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the appliance.

If your appliance has a grease trap, empty it regularly and clean it to prevent residue build-up.

Store the appliance in a clean, dry place, away from moisture.

use

  • My device releases a smoky smell, is this normal?

When you first use your raclette appliance, it is possible that the heating element gives off a smoky smell. This is often due to a protective layer of oil applied to the heating elements during the manufacture of the appliance. This smell is normal and should disappear after a few uses. Make sure the room is well ventilated during this period.
