maintenance

  • How do I clean the dust compartment?

The dust tray must be emptied and cleaned regularly.

It is important to empty the collector completely and take care to pour the dust over the dust bin. During this step, it is advisable to clean the inside of the dust bin with a damp cloth (do not put it in the dishwasher and do not immerse it in water).
When the compartment is completely dry, replace the compartment in your hoover.

  • How do I clean the filter of my hoover?

The filters must be maintained regularly. If too much dust is trapped in the filter, the filter may become clogged and the performance of the appliance will be affected.

Your hoover is equipped with a bag and two motor protection filters and a dust pan filter.

These protective filters are generally located in or behind the dust compartment.

The pleated part (called the HEPA/EPA filter) cannot be washed. It can be cleaned by tapping it over a waste bin or brushing it.

If the filter has a foam part, it can be washed with water. Make sure that the foam is completely dry.

  • How can I extend the life of my appliance?

After each use, empty the tray and clean the filter. The brushes do all the work, so it is important, as with a hairbrush, to disassemble them about once a week and clean the bristles, hair and dust that has collected around and under the bearings as described in the manual. Extend the battery life by recharging it as soon as possible and keeping your robot connected when you store it. If stored for a long time, remove the battery and place it in a cool, dry place.

  • I can't connect my vacuum cleaner to Wi-Fi, despite my best efforts to configure it. What should I do?

If your Wi-Fi network uses both 2.4 GHz and 5.5 GHz frequencies, your vacuum cleaner may have difficulty connecting. To solve this problem, contact your operator and ask them to temporarily disable the 5.5 GHz network. Then connect your vacuum cleaner to the 2.4 GHz network. Once the connection has been established, you can reactivate the 5.5 GHz network, and the vacuum cleaner will automatically connect to Wi-Fi.

use

  • At the first use my hoover robot beeps persistently.

The beep indicates a battery fault. We advise you to check that the battery is correctly installed by reconnecting it.

Did the answer solve your problem?

    No
  • How do I use the battery properly?

For good battery conservation: for regular use during the week, it is advisable to leave your hoover on its charging base. Indeed, if the robot hoover remains unplugged, its battery will discharge and risk deep discharge, which is very bad for its life. It is therefore advisable to remove the battery from the robot only if it is not used for more than a week, otherwise the robot will continue to consume a little energy from its battery.
