  • When should I change the filter in my steam plant?

    We recommend our customers to change the filters of the steam plants every 3 to 6 months depending on the use and hardness of the water.

    The filter prevents limescale from accumulating in the plant, however, it is possible to supplement its action with manual descaling (1 to 3 times a year). All you have to do is put 50% of water mixed with 50% white vinegar in the tank, heat the appliance and leave it to work for 2 hours. Once this time has elapsed, simply empty the tank and rinse it several times.

  • Which water to use in my steam plant?

    Your steam plant has been designed to be used with tap water. However, if you live in an area where the water is very hard, deposits can form quickly.

    In order to extend the service life of your steam unit, we recommend using distilled or demineralized water (or 50% demineralized water mixed with tap water).

  • Water flows instead of steam.

    The appliance must be hot to produce steam. Check that the temperature knob is not on the minimum setting. Wait for the steam indicator to go out and increase the ironing temperature.

  • Water leakage at the sole.

    The desired temperature has been reached even though the indicator light has not turn off.

  • The appliance is hot, but does not produce steam.

    The water tank is empty or badly placed, check its position and fill it if it is empty.

  • The iron does not heat up.

    If your iron does not heat up, we recommend that you reconnect the appliance to the main socket.
    Then use the temperature control knob to set the desired position according to the fabric configuration table.

  • No steam outlet when the steam switch is pressed after the desired temperature has been reached.

    Check the following points:
    - Use the temperature control knob to set the recommended and desired position.
    - Fill the water tank
    - Install the filter in the water tank
    - Slide the tank up to the base of the appliance and hear a "click" sound indicating that it is in place.

  • A noise is emitted from the iron, is this normal?

    Yes, at the beginning or during use, you may hear a pump noise or feel vibrations. This is normal, it is the pump injecting water into the boiler to produce steam.
