After some use, a thin layer of limescale may form in the depths and inside cavity of your kettle. It is then advisable to descale the kettle.

To do so, fill the kettle to the maximum level with a mixture of water and white vinegar with 2 parts water to 1 part vinegar.

Then boil the mixture at 100 °C and leave it to stand overnight.

The next morning, drain the water and boil fresh water several times at 100 °C until the vinegar taste disappears completely.

The formation of deposits inside the kettle depends on the hardness of the water used.
The harder the water, the faster mineral deposits can form on the inner walls, base and spout area.

These deposits may appear white or brown depending on the mineral composition of the water.
They are not harmful to health, but if not removed, they may reduce the performance of the appliance over time.

We recommend performing regular descaling.

Recommended methods:

White vinegar:
Fill the kettle with 0.5 L of white vinegar, leave for 1 hour, then empty and rinse thoroughly 4?5 times.

Citric acid:
Mix 0.5 L of water with 25 g of citric acid, leave for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

After each use, we recommend emptying and drying the inside of the kettle to limit reappearance.

If your kettle does not turn on, please check the power plug. Check that the plug works and that the insertion is correct.

If this is not enough, check the water level: if there is not enough water, the machine will go to safety, then you have to refill the kettle and restart it.

The kettle is designed to be used exclusively with water. It is not designed to heat other liquids.

The kettle is equipped with an anti-heating run out system. It will therefore switch off automatically if it does not detect water or if there is not enough water. To cancel the safety shutdown, simply remove the kettle from its base, fill it with water before putting it back in place.
