Is it necessary to add oil to the fryer?
Adding oil is only necessary when preparing homemade dishes from fresh ingredients, such as fresh peeled potatoes or unmarinated chicken. Adding oil creates a crispy layer on the food and improves its taste.
You should add oil to the ingredients before you start frying with hot air. Do not add oil directly to the FRY700!
To add oil to homemade potato dishes, such as fries, follow the steps below:
Peel the potatoes and cut them to your liking.
Soak the potatoes in a container for at least 30 minutes and then dry them with paper towels.
Pour 1/2 tablespoon of oil into a salad bowl. Put the potatoes in the bowl and stir until they are coated with oil.
Remove the potatoes with your fingers or a kitchen utensil and place them in the FRY700 basket.
To add oil to larger ingredients, such as chicken drumsticks or meat :
Dry the outside of the food with paper towels, if necessary.
Using a brush, lightly brush over the food or use an oil spray. Apply only 1 coat of oil. The extra oil will drain into the pan during the hot air frying process.
Tip: You can also marinate meat or poultry instead of brushing it with oil
What can I prepare in the fryer?
You can prepare all kinds of food, such as fries, potatoes, snacks, meat and poultry. You can even bake brownies!
What types of fries are used?
The fryer allows the oil-free cooking of frozen fries.
