Once completely cooled, simply gently remove the trays and discard the contents.
Remove any leftover food from the trays using the scraper.
Clean the plates, drain trays and scraper in warm water with soap, rinse and allow to dry. These items can also be washed in an automatic dishwasher.
WARNING: Do not immerse the grill base in water or any other liquid and do not get it wet.
Wipe the top and base with a sponge soaked in water and dry with a soft cloth.
Store the unit in a cool, dry place.

If you find that your device only heats one plate, this could be due to the control button on the back of the device. This button is specifically designed to control the top plate. For full use of the unit, make sure this button is set correctly to activate both plates. In addition, it is important to note that to turn off the device completely, you need to unplug it after use. Also check other controls or switches that may influence the operation of the plates.

When using the grill plates for the first time, spray or apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the non-stick surfaces of the plates. If necessary, reapply a thin layer of cooking oil for the lifespan of the plates to maintain the non-stick properties.

When first used, the appliance may produce a slight smoke. This is normal and will disappear after some time.

The temperature knobs are graduated from 1 to 3 corresponding to the following temperatures:

1-100°C 2-155°C 3-210°C

If you notice that only one side of your appliance is heating up, it may have something to do with the control knob on the back. This knob specifically controls the top plate. For the unit to work with both plates, it's crucial to ensure that this knob is adjusted to activate both sides. In addition, it is essential to unplug the unit and switch it off completely after use. Don't forget to check any other buttons or switches that might affect the heating of the plates.
