Due to lower temperatures and drier air in winter, the dehumidifier extracts less moisture compared to summer. This reduces its dehumidification capacity, but it is not a defect.

?> The dehumidifier might be in dehumidification mode, but if the ambient temperature is below 5°C or above 32°C, it cannot function properly.

The dehumidifier draws air from the room and cools it until it reaches the condensation point, causing water droplets to form and fall into the tank. The dehumidified air is then reheated by the device to reduce energy consumption and speed up the dehumidification process. That's why warm air is expelled, which is completely normal and not a defect.
