Which jars should I choose for an electric steriliser?
We recommend using jars with a closure and checking their condition before use. Even a small crack could contaminate the jars. It is also important that the seals are always new.

Useful tips
Sterilisation must be carried out with perfect hygiene. Wash and dry the food well. They must be fresh, ripe and of good quality and not cut too thin. Beans, peas, broad beans and chickpeas should be blanched beforehand. Boucaux or other containers should be scalded and drained on a clean cloth. Check the cleanliness of the containers and the quality of the jar seals. Change them if they are porous, loose or damaged. It is possible, under the effect of the pressure of the heat, that a little liquid from the inside of the jar comes out in the sterilisation water. The water may be slightly spoiled, but this will not affect the sterilisation. Fill the jars or other containers to 4 cm from the rim. We advise you to fill empty jars with water and place them with the others to prevent them from turning over.
