After having followed the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your socket outlet works properly with another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself and contact our after-sales service.

Before each use, make sure the outside of the rice bowl is clean and dry, and the heat sensor in the centre and inside of the base is clean, dry and cool.
Handle the rice bowl with care; scratching or denting the bowl can affect the quality of cooking.
Note: There are different opinions as to whether the rice should be washed before cooking or not. Proponents argue that this removes the starch content and ensures
non-sticky grains. Those against believe that valuable soluble vitamins and minerals are lost. Drier, fluffier rice is achieved by washing it before cooking.
If you use unwashed rice, a thin layer of starch may form at the bottom of the bowl.
